I remember the eclipse. I was in 5th grade And I remember we couldn’t go out for recess because they were afraid we were going to stare at the sun. I just remember looking out of the window and remembering how dark it had gotten.
I was also born on this day… but later in the evening, around 9 pm CT. I asked my mom why she didn’t tell me I was born on an eclipse day and she replied, “Was there an eclipse? I was busy.”

I was born on this day. I know that it was a Tuesday and a fairly nice day in Idaho, hopefully it was in New York, too.
